Project: Turf Essential logo
Brief: Create a logo for Ewing's new synthetic turf brand. The logo needed to convey that the turf line was for budget-conscious customers.
Solution: Since Ewing already had a premium synthetic turf brand, it was important to differentiate and show visually it was the cheaper option. I felt the thick lines and bold typography helped do that.
It was difficult to figure out how to portray synthetic grass without it looking like a fertilizer. I thought because synthetic turf comes in rolls, it would help the consumer understand that we are not selling what goes in the turf, but the turf itself. I included some of my other concepts below.
